Works consisted of:

  • Site clearance
  • Reduce level excavation
  • Mass pouring of concrete pad foundations
  • Forming and pouring of 1394 m2 of reinforced structural concrete slab involving formwork and steel fixing of reinforced steel
  • Construction of a lift pit involving formwork and steel fixing reinforced steel
  • Constructing concrete upstands on slab
  • Installation of utility service route, water, gas, electricity, electricity and data across the site penetrating the slab in areas where required
  • Foul and surface water drainage installation including the installation of 100m3 capacity cellular attenuation tank
  • External works including kerb installation and edging installation
  • Access road, pavement and cycle way construction using permable and non-permable surfacing
  • Construction of a 100m2 cycle shelter base encouraging environmentally friendly transportation usage
  • Fire / maintenance access path with Bodpave Paving Grid system
  • Installation of resin bound material to the entrance road leading up to the new building
